Vacation Time!

My bladder got me up at 6:30 am today.  I read about 50% more of my book before others showed their face in our room.  We slathered up and I headed to the pool to join Kathy, Alex, Lorra and Adam.  Sandy, Andy, and Michelle went to breakfast.  Austin was not moving yet. Alex and I played some cornhole to warm up.  Alex scored one point in three games!  Not much of a warm-up for him.  Then Andy and Austin joined us and we teamed up old guys versus young guys.  The old ones beat the young guys 2-0.  Then we switched to me and Alex versus the Albitz boys.  Then we realized who the loser was = Austin.  He never won a game today!  Me?  I’m still undefeated.  It’s Purdue’s Spring Break.  So we grabbed nephew Austin and several others and headed S to Cancun! The travel day, Saturday Mar 16, started EARLY.  Up at 2 am.  I’m the road by 3 am.  Waiting at check-in lines and security for a 6:20 flight south.  Arrived in Cancun at 8:30 local (one hour behind home).  Got one big van to take us to the Royal Haciendas at Riviera Maya.  Rooms were not ready, but we grabbed lunch and drinks at the poolside restaurant.  The we got our rooms - two suites adjacent.   Some hit the pool deck, others took naps, others attempted to watch the Purdue men’s basketball team play in the Big Ten championship tournament.  We grabbed dinner right at 6 pm when the restaurant opened for business and early bedtimes for all!
